Nylon was the first engineering resin and has been widely used across various industries, including electronics, marine, automotive, and even in fibers for carpets. Nylon sheets offer exceptional wear resistance and low friction properties.

Nylon exhibits excellent temperature stability, chemical resistance, and impact strength. Machined or fabricated nylon parts are lightweight, corrosion-resistant, and ideal for many industrial applications. Its low friction, strong abrasion resistance, and ability to operate without lubrication make it suitable for demanding environments. In particular, cast nylon boasts impressive load-bearing capacity, wear resistance, and impact strength, making it well-suited for heavy-duty construction uses.

However, nylon sheets without UV stabilizers are sensitive to ultraviolet light and are not recommended for prolonged outdoor exposure. Carbon black, used in our black nylon sheets, is the most effective UV stabilizer. While it enhances tensile strength and hardness, it slightly reduces ductility and toughness.
